A high-end train service between Ho Chi Minh City and Phan Thiet City in Binh Thuan Province will begin operation on March 20.
The SPT1 train departs from Phan Thiet at 1.10pm and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 5.17pm, with stops at Binh Thuan, Bien Hoa and Di An railway stations.
The SPT2 train departs from Ho Chi Minh City at 6.40 am and arrives in Phan Thiet at 10.26am, with stopovers in Di An, Bien Hoa and Binh Thuan stations.
Ticket prices range from VNĐ137,000 to VNĐ187,000 per passenger, except for holidays.
According to Sai Gon Railway Transport Co., sleeper cars on the train route have four- or six-bed cabins, while cabins with seats have large spaces for baggage.
Earlier, the company on February 22 launched a new high-qualitySai Gon-Nha Trang train service.
